Trashing the dress

The scene is nothing new in China: bride, groom, photographer, and a team of make-up-mastering, sun-reflector-wielding helpers. But in the US, wedding photos are only slowly starting to wander from the traditional aisle. Some new, at times shocking, buy runescape gold twists are being wrought on the traditional point-and-shoot.

Wedding season has arrived, and with it swarms of soon-to-be-wed couples tromping through parks for their pre-wedding photo shoot.

Most American weddings still take place in a church. The wedding itself is followed by a big reception party with friends and family. A photographer`s job, traditionally, is to capture these two events for posterity. That requires some basic staples of a wedding album: the bride coming down the aisle, the putting on of the ring, the kiss, and the happy couple emerging from the church as newlyweds.

After the "I do`s", family members line up around the bride and groom for a series of photos-the bride and her bridesmaids, the groom and his brothers; possibilities are endless.

Over the last few decades, wedding photojournalism has also become a necessary addition to the traditional package. A photographer is asked to follow the couple and their party throughout the day, trying to catch candid shots that portray a more behind-the-scenes look to the festivities.

Evan Flagg and his fiancé Ilia Saddler are planning to get married on August 7. The couple originally met at their alma mater, Pomona College outside Los Angeles, California. They`re spending $4,000 (27,304 yuan) on wedding shots, both in a pre-wedding "engagement session" and at the wedding.

"I`d like to think we`re not choosing traditional photography, but I know that we will still be doing all the traditional wedding shots," Flagg says. "Our hope is that our photographer will put his own artistic stamp on the photos. I want them to have a point of view and character."

Unlike with Chinese couples, fantasy costumes are not part of the runescape gold procedure. But that doesn`t mean that alternatives don`t exist. Las Vegas photographer John Michael Cooper is credited with being the first wedding photographer to "trash the dress". Just like it sounds, the bride takes her prized possession and either slightly or completely destroys it.

Most park-going, photo-parade couples in China are in rented apparel. But that`s not the case in the States. Most brides buy runescape money expensive, thousand-dollar dresses to wear only once, before storing them away as a keepsake or possible hand-me-down. That is, unless they trash it-by swimming in a swamp, or lighting the dress on fire in the desert. The trend is more Glamor mag than wedding drag, and it is a freeing experience much more rewarding than stuffing the runescape accounts princess piece back in some box.

"I don`t think we would ruin the dress," Flagg says. His fiancé has forked out $2,000 (13,652 yuan) for hers. But he likes the idea of more avant-garde wedding art.

From the whacky to the tacky, couples have also been spicing up ceremonies with photo booths-the kind you might see at a carnival or tourist attraction. The idea here is similar: let loose. People enter the booth and draw the curtain closed. The result is often hilarious photos and runescape items videos from friends and family.

After all, capturing the day on camera is what makes wedding photography such an integral part of the
cheap runescape goldmulti-billion dollar wedding business.

"It obviously captures a significant milestone in your life," Flagg says. "Rarely do you get all the family and friends together, so I think it will be great to go through the cheap runescape accounts album when I`m old and senile and see who was there."

Brain to blame for genetic obesity

An international study has discovered why some runescape gold people who eat a high-fat diet remain slim, yet others pile on the weight.

Researchers found in some people a high-fat diet causes the brain cells to become insulated from the body.

This prevents vital signals, which tell the runescape money body to stop eating and to burn calories through exercise, from reaching the brain.

The team from Monash University, Australia, said the findings provide a critical link in addressing the obesity epidemic.

Lead author Professor Michael Cowley, said: `These neuronal circuits regulate eating behaviours and energy expenditure and runescape accounts are a naturally occurring process in the brain.

`The circuits begin to form early in life so that people may have a tendency towards obesity even before they eat their runescape items first meal,` he said.

Eating a high fat diet causes more `insulation` in the nerve cells, and makes it even harder for the brain to help a person lose weight.

Professor Cowley said: `Obese people are not necessarily lacking willpower. Their brains do not know how full or how much fat they have stored, so the cheap runescape gold brain does not tell the body to stop refuelling. Subsequently, their body`s ability to lose weight is significantly reduced.`

Older men stay attractive

The modern man is capable of turning a woman’s head up to the age of 55, while 30 years ago few women would have runescape gold looked twice at a man over 45, the research showed.

A greater emphasis on dressing well and keeping fit has dramatically improved the physical attractiveness of older men, according to the findings.

The trend towards women marrying and having children later in life has also extended the period for which a bachelor is considered eligible.

Debenhams, a famous
runescape money department store in Britain, surveyed 1,000 women and 1,000 men aged between 18 and 60 on their attitudes to male appearance.

Baldness is no longer seen as a stigma, and even a slight paunch is unlikely to render a man unattractive to women, the study for Debenhams found.

Many women reported finding the runescape accounts greater financial security of older men reassuring because it represents a better life for their children.

Ruth Attridge, a spokeswoman for the department store, said: "Older men are now remaining more attractive to women for longer than ever before.

"They are increasingly seen as eligible, prospective runescape items partners rather than old bores with little energy left to catch the female eye.

"It`s great news for George Clooney and Brad Pitt."

Men are now spending more time, either alone or with a partner, selecting styles to suit their shape, as well as choosing shades which complement their complexion, hair and eye colour.

Miss Attridge continued: "Few older men now walk into a store and cheap runescape gold bulk-buy the first item they see. They understand that continuing to look good after fifty means putting much more effort into dressing well for every occasion.

“Younger men, by comparison, still feel that they don`t really have to try that hard.”

Evolution defines shopping style

Differing roles in prehistoric times have runescape gold evolved into differing shopping styles, the researchers believe.

While women spent their days gathering food often with children, men were hunters who made specific plans about how to catch and kill their prey.

The two approaches to how we used to runescape money obtain food mirrors how we shop in modern times, the study believes.

He said women would spend hours trying to find the right outfit, present or object, because they had in the past spent ages trying to find the best quality and health giving foods.

Men on the other hand, decided in advance what animal they wanted to kill and then went looking for it. Once it was found - and runescape accounts killed - they returned home.

Professor Daniel Kruger of the University of Michigan said the study could be the answer to why there was so much conflict when couples shopped together.

Foraging was a daily social activity in prehistoric times and runescape items often young children were included, much like they are today when women shop, Prof Kruger said.

Women gained the skills of how to get the best quality food in cave man times because if they chose the wrong berry or nut it could kill, he said.

“When gathering, women must be very adept at choosing just the right colour, texture and smell to ensure food safety and quality”he said.

“They also must time harvests and cheap runescape gold know when a certain depleted patch will regenerate and yield good harvest again.”

“In modern terms, women are much more likely than men to know when a specific type of item will go on sale. Women also spend much more time choosing the perfect fabric, colour and texture.”

Prof Kruger decided to conduct the study after a winter holiday trip with friends across Europe.

After exploring sleepy little villages and reaching Prague, the first thing the women wanted to do was shop, Prof Kruger said, and the men could not understand why.

"But that is not so unreasonable if you`re thinking about a gathering strategy," he said.

"Anytime you come into a new area you want to scope out the landscape and cheap runescape accounts find out where the food patches are."

Prof Kruger said on the other hand in prehistoric times men had to hunt for specific items which meant they had to be clinical in their approach like they are now with shopping.

"Men often have a specific item in mind and want to get in, get it and get out," he said.

"It`s critical to get meat home as quickly as possible. Taking young children isn`t safe in a hunt and would likely hinder progress."

Prof Kruger said if men and women understood each other`s shopping strategies they could avoid arguments in the shops.
